Update - My Lens

This was shot and edited over a three day period. I was required to make a non-dialogue narrative film for an assignment for college. I am fascinated with the style of the 40s and wanted to make a classy, stylish piece, inspired from film noir. I had a crew of three people, plus myself.

Update - My Lens

Polaroid Fun!

This was my first time using the camera but it was so much fun! I can't wait to take more snaps with it!

Update - My Scribbles

All About Me
I am just fresh from college, released into the big bad world. I studied multimedia for 5 years - 2 years in ST. John's Central College in Cork, 2 years in Cork Institute of Technology and I did a term in Darmstadt, Germany, as an Erasmus student.

I then studied film for a year in St. John's Central College, Cork. Because of my previous multimedia experience I was admitted directly into 2nd year of the course.

I have a vast knowledge of media studies. Studying multimedia gave me a very rounded perspective with film, animation, audio, graphic design, web design, creative thinking, cognitive thinking, beginner phscology and film theory. I excelled greatly at film and as such, when I finished my multimedia course, I decided to specialise in the field of film. I really enjoyed my time at St. John's and felt the film course and the teachers are excellent.

In the course I excelled mostly in editing, script writing and producing. Though these are all very different areas of the industry, I feel I have a great aptitude for all three. Script writing allows my imagination to run free and lets me be very creative. I thoroughly enjoy the creativity and technical aspects of editing. It is amazing how many ways the same story can be told through editing. I feel my producing skills are very good. I work well under pressure and I naturally embraced the role of a producer.
